Gene & Cell Therapy Management

I lead design on OCELLOS, a gene and cell therapy management platform, Trakcel's primary product within the biotherapeutics space. I started work with the team as a consultant in late 2022 for an initial product audit through Subject Design, with a couple of small knockout improvements to the existing UI. Throughout our continued engagements I've helped the team improve their design strategy and developed their product in key ways.

Your process, your way

One key piece of customer feedback gathered from the team was the lack of value for the static home page. I redefined the home page experience with a flexible widget based design allowing customers to customize their clinic's view based on user role and location. This made a large impact to the Trakcel team’s development strategy and enabled them to offer targeted solutions to different customers based on their needs.

Color token system

I designed a color token system allowing customers to customize their views of patient and timeline data across the product, reinforcing critical patient milestones. This feature connects across multiple touchpoints for the end user and is designed for flexibility across different user personas.

OCELLOS Gateway

For clinics managing multiple therapies, a centralized dashboard allows for visibility across all therapies. With ideas drawn directly from customer feedback, I helped the team imagine a fuller multi-therapy experience before scaling the design back to what would be feasable in the short term.

Refining patient data visualization

Every patient has a different therapeutic journey, occasionally needing multiple rounds of cell therapy. Redesigning the patient list and their detail pages was a key task allowing clinics to more easily connect to patient journeys.
